Legendary and Veteran Actor Robbie Coltrane dies at age 72

Scottish Actor , Comedian and Writer Robbie Coltrane who best known for his role as Rubeus Hagrid in JK Rowling’s Famous “Harry Potter Series” dies at age 72 on October 14 ,2022 which is confirmed by his agent Belinda Wright.

Coltrane gave many marvellous and memorable performance in his more than four decades career in film and television and for those performance he got so many accolades. In his four long career in film and television coltrane best known to the world for his role as Rubeus Hagrid in JK Rowling’s Famous “Harry Potter Series”.

Apart from Harry Potter Series, Robbie Coltrane also worked in two James Bond Movies Golden Eyes (1995) and The World is Not Enough (1999) as a former KGB agent turned Russian mafia lord co-starred with Pierce Brosnan .

In 1987 Coltrane costarred with Thompson in the BBC miniseries Tutti Frutti , for which he was nominated for his first British Academy Television Award for Best Actor. Coltrane then rose to fame on a national scale by playing Dr. Eddie “Fitz” Fitzgerald, a criminal psychologist, in the ITV television series Cracker (1993–2006), for which he won three consecutive British Academy Television Awards for Best Actor (1994 to 1996).

No doubt Robbie Coltrane was one of the greatest and finest actor of all time and World Cinema lost a gem but he will always be remembered for his famous role Rubeus Hagrid.
